Hello Everyone,
We will be starting the specification for this request this coming week. At the risk of opening Pandora's Box here, we are open to feedback and input on how a feature like this should work in Woven.
One thing to be we want to be clear about, is that we are not seeking to create a "Recurring Checklist" type functionality at this time. i.e. Opening / Closing checklists. That is on Woven's roadmap but will be a separate feature from Tasks. Tasks were and are meant for more of a one-off "to-do" type item; the replacement for Post-It Notes stuck all over the office.
When creating a Task that goes to multiple Team Members and/or Locations, here are some questions we'll be looking to nail down answers to this week.
- How to target? Location + Position is Woven standard, but anything else needed?
- Is 'bulk' editing needed after adding the Task? If so, how to handle cases where the Task was already marked completed?
- Are the receiving Team Members able to re-assign the Task? Delete It? Update it or otherwise edit it? (Content or Due Date)
- What type of reporting is needed? Do you need to see a completion rate or any type of specific compliance with task completion?
